Has John Parry won a golf major? The answer is no. Entering the 2026 major championship calendar, the English professional has zero major titles across the Masters Tournament, PGA Championship, U.S. Open and The Open Championship. However, the John Parry Major Wins record does not tell the full story of a player who rebuilt his career with major success on the DP World Tour and Challenge Tour.
John Parry Major Wins: 2026 Scoreboard
In men’s professional golf, a major championship win refers only to one of four events: the Masters, PGA Championship, U.S. Open and The Open Championship. Parry has not yet lifted one of these trophies.
| Major Championship | John Parry Major Wins | 2026 Status |
|---|---|---|
| Masters Tournament | 0 | No major title |
| PGA Championship | 0 | No major title |
| U.S. Open | 0 | No major title |
| The Open Championship | 0 | No major title |

While Parry has no major championship victories, he is a two-time DP World Tour winner. His career is particularly notable because of the 14-year gap between his first and second DP World Tour titles, showing the persistence required to return to the top level of European golf.
John Parry’s Key Professional Wins
John Parry was born in Harrogate, England, in 1986 and turned professional in 2007. His first DP World Tour victory came at the 2010 Vivendi Cup at AA Saint Omer Golf Club in France. That win established Parry as one of England’s promising young touring professionals.
His most important recent victory came at the 2024 AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, played at Mont Choisy Le Golf in Mauritius. Parry won the tournament in December 2024, securing his second DP World Tour title and his first at that level since 2010.
| Year | Tournament | Tour | Career Significance |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2010 | Vivendi Cup | European Tour, now DP World Tour | First DP World Tour victory |
| 2024 | Delhi Challenge | Challenge Tour | Part of a three-win promotion campaign |
| 2024 | Blot Open de Bretagne | Challenge Tour | Strengthened his Road to Mallorca position |
| 2024 | Italian Challenge Open | Challenge Tour | Third Challenge Tour win of the season |
| 2024 | AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open | DP World Tour | Second DP World Tour title after 14 years |
Why the 2024 Season Changed John Parry’s Career
Parry’s 2024 campaign was one of the strongest comeback stories in European golf. He won three times on the Challenge Tour, earning promotion back to the DP World Tour through the Road to Mallorca Rankings. He then immediately converted that form into a DP World Tour victory in Mauritius.
Those results matter when assessing John Parry’s future major championship prospects. Major fields are difficult to access, with exemptions commonly awarded through world ranking, tour victories, qualifying events and selected international performance categories. A DP World Tour win improves a player’s status, schedule opportunities and ability to collect Official World Golf Ranking points.
Can John Parry Win a Major Championship?
John Parry has not yet recorded a major win, but his 2024 revival demonstrated that he can contend and win against high-level international fields. His accurate, composed style and renewed DP World Tour status give him a stronger platform for qualifying into golf’s biggest events.
For now, the 2026 John Parry major wins scoreboard remains at zero. Yet his record includes two DP World Tour victories, three Challenge Tour wins in 2024 and a remarkable return to winning form after more than a decade between top-tier titles. For golf fans following English players on the DP World Tour, Parry remains a name worth watching as he pursues his first appearance near the top of a major championship leaderboard.
