Campbell followed that result with another playoff triumph at the John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois.
Why Brian Campbell’s Major Championship Record Matters
Winning regular PGA TOUR events is a major achievement, but major championships create a different level of pressure. The Masters is played annually at Augusta National Golf Club, the PGA Championship features one of the strongest fields in professional golf, the U.S. Open places a premium on accuracy and patience, and The Open Championship tests players in links-golf conditions.
For Brian Campbell, the route to a first major title will likely depend on the same qualities that powered his 2025 wins: disciplined course management, efficient scoring, and composure in playoff-level pressure. His victories at VidantaWorld and TPC Deere Run showed that he can close tournaments when the leaderboard is crowded.
