Did Cam Davis have any major championship wins heading into the 2026 golf season? The answer is no. The Australian PGA Tour professional has zero Cam Davis Major Wins in golf’s four men’s major championships, but his record includes two PGA Tour victories and a notable top-five finish at the 2023 PGA Championship.
Cam Davis, born February 21, 1995, in Sydney, Australia, turned professional in 2016 and has developed into one of Australia’s most capable PGA Tour players. While a Masters Tournament, PGA Championship, U.S. Open, or The Open Championship trophy has not yet appeared on his resume, Davis has proven that he can win at the highest weekly-tour level.
Cam Davis Major Wins: 2026 Scoreboard

| The Open Championship | 0 | No major title |
| Total Major Championships | 0 | Best finish: T4 at 2023 PGA Championship |
The 2026 major championship schedule is not complete, so Cam Davis’ final 2026 scoreboard can change only if he captures one of golf’s four biggest titles. Until then, his official major-win total remains at zero.
Cam Davis’ Best Major Championship Performance
Davis produced his strongest major result at the 2023 PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York. He finished tied for fourth place, a performance that placed him behind champion Brooks Koepka and showed that his game could contend on a demanding major layout.
Oak Hill required elite driving, disciplined iron play, and patience around firm, difficult greens. Davis handled those conditions well enough to record his first top-five finish in a men’s major. For a player seeking a breakthrough at the Masters, U.S. Open, PGA Championship, or Open Championship, that result remains a defining milestone.
PGA Tour Wins That Built Cam Davis’ Major Potential
Although there are no Cam Davis major championship titles yet, his PGA Tour victories demonstrate his ability to close under pressure. Both of his PGA Tour wins came at the Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club.
| Year | Tournament | Winning Detail |
|---|---|---|
| 2021 | Rocket Mortgage Classic | Won a five-hole playoff over Troy Merritt and Joaquin Niemann |
| 2024 | Rocket Mortgage Classic | Won by one stroke over Akshay Bhatia at 18-under-par 270 |
His first Rocket Mortgage Classic victory was especially important because it came in a playoff against two experienced PGA Tour competitors. Davis later returned to Detroit Golf Club in 2024 and successfully defended his status as a winner there, closing with a final-round 70 to finish one shot ahead of Akshay Bhatia.
Why Cam Davis Could Challenge for a Major
Davis has the physical tools to compete at major championship venues. At 6-foot-4, he generates significant distance off the tee, a valuable asset at long U.S. Open and PGA Championship courses. His 2023 PGA Championship result also confirmed that he can remain competitive when scoring is difficult and pars carry greater value than birdies.
For Davis to convert major contention into a first major win, he will need to consistently sharpen his approach play and putting during the weekend rounds. Major championships often reward players who avoid costly mistakes over 72 holes, particularly at Augusta National, Open Championship links venues, and demanding U.S. Open setups.
Cam Davis Major Wins Outlook for 2026
As the 2026 season develops, Cam Davis enters the major championships as a proven PGA Tour winner rather than a major winner. His total stands at zero major titles, but a tied-fourth finish at the PGA Championship and two Rocket Mortgage Classic wins provide credible evidence that he can compete against elite fields.
Golf fans searching for Cam Davis Major Wins should note the distinction between his PGA Tour victories and major championship record. Davis has won twice on the PGA Tour, but he is still pursuing his first Masters, PGA Championship, U.S. Open, or Open Championship title.
