Who Is Alejandro Tosti?
Alejandro Tosti is a professional golfer from Rosario, Argentina, born on May 30, 1996. Before establishing himself in the United States, he built experience in college golf and professional development tours. He played collegiate golf at the University of Florida and later at the University of South Florida, developing the power-oriented game that has become his trademark.
Tosti earned his PGA Tour opportunity through the Korn Ferry Tour. His breakthrough came with a victory at the 2023 Pinnacle Bank Championship, a Korn Ferry Tour event in Omaha, Nebraska. That win was a major step in securing PGA Tour status for the 2024 season.
Why Alejandro Tosti Has Drawn Major Championship Attention
Although Alejandro Tosti major wins remain at zero, his game has qualities that can translate to difficult championship layouts. He is known for being an aggressive player off the tee, willing to take on demanding driving lines and create birdie opportunities with length and confidence.
That approach is especially relevant at major venues, where players must balance power with discipline. The U.S. Open often rewards accuracy and patience, while PGA Championship venues can favor elite ball-striking. The Masters demands precise approach play and course knowledge, and The Open Championship tests trajectory control and creativity in windy conditions.
Tosti’s path to becoming a major contender depends on converting his high-upside style into four-round consistency. Major championships are rarely won with only power. Players must avoid large mistakes, manage firm greens, scramble effectively, and make key putts under pressure.
Alejandro Tosti’s Most Significant Professional Win
While he has not won a major, Tosti’s most notable professional victory remains the 2023 Pinnacle Bank Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour. The result helped demonstrate that he could contend and close tournaments against high-level professional competition.
| Achievement | Year | Importance |
|---|---|---|
| Pinnacle Bank Championship winner | 2023 | First major Korn Ferry Tour breakthrough and key step toward PGA Tour status |
| PGA Tour rookie season | 2024 | Established Tosti as a regular competitor at golf’s highest weekly level |

Can Alejandro Tosti Win a Major Championship?
Yes, but he has not yet reached that milestone. At 29 years old in 2026, Tosti is within a common age range for players developing into regular PGA Tour contenders. His long-game ability gives him a foundation to compete at demanding golf courses, especially when conditions reward distance and aggressive shot-making.
For Tosti to move from PGA Tour contender to major winner, several areas will be crucial: gaining more major-championship starts, improving scoring consistency, minimizing bogeys on difficult holes, and maintaining composure late on Sundays. His Korn Ferry Tour win proves he can finish the job in a professional event; winning a major would require doing so against the deepest fields in golf.
Final Verdict on Alejandro Tosti Major Wins
The current answer to “How many major wins does Alejandro Tosti have?” is straightforward: zero. He has not won the Masters, PGA Championship, U.S. Open, or The Open Championship.

The Argentine’s 2023 Korn Ferry Tour victory, PGA Tour experience, and fearless style give him a credible platform for future major opportunities.
